How to become a member?
Our membership is quite broad as it includes traders (who constitute the core of our members), suppliers, buyers of dairy ingredients, associations representing such companies as well as other organisations involved in the dairy sector with an interest in our work. If you are a company or an organisation fitting into one of these categories, you might qualify for membership.
Eucolait has three types of members:
- Full Members
Our full members, also referred to as national delagations, are organisations based in an EU Member State. In most cases, the national delegation is the representative organisation for dairy trade in the Member State in question.
Trading companies that are affiliated with their respective national delegation are as such de facto members of Eucolait and can attend our conferences, product committee meetings and workshops. They are also eligible to subscribe to our information service and can participate as observers to our statutory general assembly.
If you are based in a country in which we have a full member, we invite you to get in touch with that organisation in order to have access to Eucolait. You can find the list of full members with contact details here.
- Direct Members
In the event that an EU member state has no representative dairy trade organisation that is a full member of Eucolait, companies active in dairy trade can apply for direct membership. Direct members can attend our conferences, product committee meetings and workshops. They can participate at our statutory general assembly and are automatically subscribed to our info-service.
- Associate Members
Dairy (trade) companies based outside the EU or organisations the activities of which are related to dairy trade are welcome to apply for associate membership. Associate members have access to our conferences, product committee meetings and workshops. They can participate as observers to our statutory general assembly and are automatically subscribed to our info-service.
For more information on how to become an associate member, please contact the Eucolait secretariat.
All decisions regarding new members are taken by the Board of Directors within a reasonable time frame and in application of the Eucolait statutes
